This game is super fun i'm impressed that you made it in only 3 hours. It gets easy quickly but I understand how balance isn't a priority in such a short jam. I am wondering how you made the background though it looks awesome and I have no idea how to do something like that in gamemaker.
Thank you for the kind words! I got that background effect working by complete chance. First you set up a grid-pattern for the background, then you need to set the backgroundâs horizontal and vertical speed to something other than 0 and lastly you need to add an effect layer and set the effect type to âDistortâ. Then you can play around with the âAmountâ value and youâll get this effect.
